Established in 1988 TOC have over 20 years experience in the safe collection and recycling of used Electrical Appliances, including domestic and commercial refrigerators.

TOC Recycling operates from its WEEE Waste Transfer Station in Hertfordshire and is fully licensed by the Environment Agency in accordance with the EU Regulation 2037/2000 for Ozone Depleting Substances: The Hazard Waste Regulations 2005 and WEEE Directive 2007.

We aspire to a Zero Landfill Policy.

The TOC Recycling WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Waste Transfer Station is also registered as a DCF (Dedicated Collection Facility).

TOC specialise in providing a collection service to both Councils and Commercial Businesses.

We bulk load the various WEEE items onto 45ft trailers at our premises for onward transportation to the AATFs (Authorised Approved Treatment Facilities) for final processing and recycling of the various materials i.e. metals and plastics etc. The ODS substances are safely removed from the refrigerator cooling systems and insulation.
